Before it existed, I wrote down every movie and show I watched in a notebook. Over the years it grew into a huge record — and one day I lost that notebook. I lost it all. That's how Slate was born: so that would never happen again.
Today it's much more than a digital notebook: it's a place where every movie and show I watch stays saved forever, like fixed stars in a sky that can no longer be lost.
